Fort Defiance is an unincorporated community in Augusta County, VA. The downtown of this metropolis consists of an intersection, a gas station, and this grocery store. (The community also contains a few schools, a historic church, and a military history museum.)
Our first store in the area that's marked today is Taylor's Grocery, which has an Exxon (formerly Pure Oil) gas station attached. It's a small grocery store that looks to be closer to the convenience store end of things, but probably has a larger selection of groceries because of the rural setting.
The gas station is located just out of this picture to the left.
