Returning to, yes, the same building as yesterday's
tour for a look inside the convenience store at the other end of the building. I'm assuming Whole Foods management made the decision that a separate Whole Body (health and beauty) store didn't make sense, so those products were consolidated into the main supermarket with this second storefront, which does not connect to the main supermarket, becoming a convenience store. Interestingly enough, it doubles up a lot of selection that the supermarket has but probably offers the basics for a shorter checkout time and less crowded facility.
In addition to the produce, grab-and-go meals and snacks, and beverages, there's a coffee and juice counter at the back of the store.
There's no shortage of coffee shops in Manhattan, but it's probably a convenient spot to get a few items at once. There's no seating area here or in the main supermarket, however.
The store is at the corner of 7th Avenue and 25th Street.
