Didn't get enough of the SuperFresh Food World in Belleville after my ridiculously long tour a few weeks ago? Good news, we're back for a quick update! We see some exterior construction going on here, with the parking lot being rearranged (and, as mentioned, cut back in size for the new development). Hard to tell whether there's going to be any remodeling done to the store's exterior, but there is scaffolding around the entrance. We'll see if that indicates an upcoming renovation. There appears to be a walkway cutting through the middle of the parking lot so that people in the residences can walk across to the supermarket's entrance directly...

And speaking of the residences, those buildings are getting close to being done. They'll probably be occupied by the end of the year. Now let's head into the supermarket to see a few of the small changes that have been made.

The bakery has been removed (although baked goods are still in this area), and the former bakery prep area is now being prepared for a Super Health Pharmacy -- which also has locations in the Linden and Hopelawn SuperFresh stores, as well as next to where the Pleasant Plains SuperFresh used to be, and strangely enough, inside the Foodtown in Croton-On-Hudson. The part to the right is going to be the relocated floral department.

Facing that, we have a reset international section, with all new shelving (which is taller than it used to be), and new signage. The liquor store is still in the corner to the right, where Pathmark's pharmacy was, and sale items line the right side wall of the store. Not much else has changed around the store aside from a few new signs here and there since our last tour, but we do have part of the manager's office in the front left corner of the store now removed for an extensive housewares department...
