Can you believe I've been doing this for five years now?! Well, it's been quite the hobby, that's for sure. Five years after I started, I've photographed over 2300 current and former food stores of all kinds in 16 U.S. states, two Canadian provinces, and Washington, D.C (that is, if I can count right). We've seen over a thousand stores here and on
The Independent Edition and
Grocery Archaeology. And I ain't stopping anytime soon. For a progress check, we're more than halfway through New Jersey, after which we'll continue down into the mid-Atlantic region and south before circling back up through Pennsylvania from south to north and across the southern part of New York again before crossing Connecticut into Rhode Island, then up to Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. After all that, we're heading across the country to California. Of course, that's all if I ever quite get around to writing it all! And I may change my mind somewhere in there and decide to do things in a different order, and there's always the chance to add even more stores to my collection. As always, thank you all for reading and please come again soon!
Congratulations on 5 years! Looking forward to what's yet to come on The Market Report!
ReplyDeleteHappy blogiversary, my friend! I'd say by now you're more of an expert than just your average everyday Supermarket Fan :)
