You know the deal by now. 35,000 square foot, 90s-era Food Lion on route 13. Unfortunately, that's the majority of the grocery stores that we're stuck with in this area. This has the distinction of being the southernmost supermarket on the Delmarva Peninsula.

I do want to apologize for the boring supermarkets for a lot of the Delmarva group, which we are concluding today, and in Hampton Roads/Norfolk which we start tomorrow. I was in the area in December 2019/January 2020 for a family reunion, which is not overly conducive to supermarket visits, so we're limited by the places we drove by and stopped at to pick up the necessary groceries for us. Consequently, the next couple of weeks are going to be similarly boring. (I actually spent almost half an hour back in January 2020, in Norfolk, frantically going through my pictures and trying to genuinely figure out whether I accidentally photographed the same Food Lion twice. I didn't.) But there is still some fun stuff in with the boring stuff, so come back tomorrow for a preview of what we'll be seeing in the Hampton Roads/Norfolk area!
