I previously mentioned that we'd be seeing a few Asian supermarkets as we move through Philadelphia. There are quite a few scattered across the city, but the Lawncrest area and bordering neighborhoods have a large Asian population which of course means there are several Asian grocery stores around here. At 8400 square feet, E&D Market is pretty small, but (at least judging by this picture from 2017 when it was B&K Market) has a fair amount to offer inside. Prior to B&K's opening, it was the Philly Super Market, although I don't know anything about that store. We're just a couple blocks west of tomorrow's stop, so head over to The Market Report tomorrow for that but the following day we're back here on The Independent Edition for another Asian supermarket!
