LIDL
Supermarkets are on the move across New York City, with lots of independent stores opening and coming soon. In the southwestern Bronx, the Bronx Terminal Market is about to get another option for food shopping: LIDL, which will soon have a store in every New York City borough, joining Food Bazaar here in the Bronx Terminal Market. Despite their missteps, I visited a store in Astoria not that long ago and found it very appealing with a large selection. Other stores, though, I've found to be very unappealing. (I went to the one in Easton recently... probably won't be back.)

As LIDL continues to open new stores, like one in Morristown, just a few towns over in Livingston a store has been sitting ready to open for nearly a year. The way they operate is just a bit mysterious. I'll check on the various LIDL stores when I can, but in the meantime...
