Okka Foods Market
Owner: unknown
It feels much larger than its size, with a coffee shop (including brewed and bulk coffee) and several rows of pastries in self-serve cases immediately inside the entrance on the left. Produce is front and center, with the registers in the front-right corner of the store. Behind the coffee shop is the bakery, with a massive display of cakes, pastries, and breads on the left-side wall. Deli and butcher take up the rest of the left-side wall, with dairy on the right side and frozen foods in the front. The grocery aisles are behind produce, running side to side.
The store's design is just gorgeous, with high-end finished throughout. The store is also absolutely immaculate, which you can see from the produce cases. Brand-new digital price tags line the shelves around the store.
The coffee shop and bakery could be standalone businesses...
Absolutely everything in the store looks gorgeous. Behind produce is olives and dried fruit/nuts in bulk.
We see, too, how every inch of the store is fully stocked with lots of choices.
Even towards the end of the day, the bread counter was still packed with lots of fresh bread.
The gorgeous deli and cheese counter is next, with the butcher behind it.
Frozen foods are in the front of the grocery aisles. Okka Foods doesn't really have a storebrand, but natural/organic items come from UNFI under the Field Day brand.
Dairy on the right side takes up the rest of the store behind the produce department. Again, although the selection angles international and higher-end, there are still full selections of all the basics.
Milk is at the back of the store in the last aisle.
As we circle back, here's a look at the butcher counter looking up towards the front of the store...
And another stop by the nuts and snacks bulk area!
There's an entrance to the registers area on the left side of the store, and the registers are lined up in the front corner of the store opposite the entrance.
Here's that section, which forms the line towards the registers.

Welcome to our final special report of the day! I guess you could say I was saving the best for last, because this store is absolutely spectacular. And it packs a lot of selection and services into just about 8,000 square feet of a former Rainbow clothing store. Judging by the name Okka and most of the selections here, I'd bet the bulk of the store is Turkish-focused. This is an incredibly diverse neighborhood, with large Middle Eastern and Eastern European populations. Okka has a little bit of everything, but aside from the international focus, it's just a generally higher-end supermarket.Cooperative: none

That's all for Okka Foods, but as we see, it's a gorgeous addition to the already crowded grocery landscape of Homecrest! Don't forget to see today's other posts here.
