Memorabilia Day 7: Kroger!

Who doesn't recognize the Kroger name? What is today the country's largest supermarket chain has long been dominant in certain parts of the US.

Kroger

Here's a good overview of Kroger-branded spices over the course of several decades, probably. My guess is that the blue and beige package is the oldest, probably from the 1950s, then the square logos with the spice name on top are the next-oldest, then the oval logos are fairly recent.
I would estimate these packages are from the 1960s. One similar one is still kickin' in my grandmother's cabinet...
I'm not positive when this item was purchased, but notice that there's no bar code so I'd guess 1960s. Not positive where she bought this, either.
No expiration date, either, but we do have a price stamped on the bottom... 27 cents!
Similar packaging spotted in an antique store...
Tomorrow we have two regional chains for a look at their memorabilia!
